Nattapong Sukkasem

Nattapong Sukkasem is the named author for the articles published on ExpireOnDate.com. The site brings together celebrity obituaries, stories about death, and explanations of the population statistics behind its entertainment calculator. Its tone is darkly comic, with Morty, the Reaper’s anxious intern, providing the fictional voice that readers encounter throughout the site.

The news archive covers people from film, television, music, sport and public life. The accompanying factor guides explain how researchers study associations between everyday circumstances and life expectancy. These are different kinds of writing: an obituary concerns a particular person, while a research guide discusses findings across groups. Neither the calculator nor its commentary can predict an individual’s death date.

Readers can use the linked references on the factor pages to examine the underlying research and its limitations. Photo credits identify the creators and licences of the images, separately from reporting sources. Questions about a story, requests for corrections, and suggestions for more useful references can be sent through the site’s contact page.
