We want everyone to be able to use ExpireOnDate — whoever you are and however you browse. We aim to meet the spirit of the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and we keep improving.

What we've built in

• Keyboard navigation throughout the calculator, with visible focus outlines.
• Semantic headings and landmarks, plus ARIA labels on the question steps, the results panel and every form field.
• Colour contrast aimed at WCAG AA for body text, despite the deliberately gothic palette.
• Meaning is never carried by colour alone — icons and text labels back it up.
• Large touch targets and a responsive layout that reflows cleanly down to small phones.
• Respect for your prefers-reduced-motion setting, so the flickering, drifting and countdown animations ease off if you've asked your device to reduce motion.
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; purely decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers.
